Brake Press Operator (CNC) – Air Handling Manufacturing

💰 $24–$30/hour (based on experience)
🕒 Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Day Shift)
Company Overview:
We are a growing manufacturing company specializing in Air Handling systems, currently seeking an experienced Brake Press Operator to join our production team in Concord.

Key Responsibilities:
* Set up and operate CNC press brake machines according to job specifications and blueprints
* Configure tooling, dies, and machine components for precise bending operations
* Measure, cut, and align metal sheets to required dimensions and tolerances
* Perform bending, punching, and shaping of metal parts to meet design specifications
* Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and accuracy; make adjustments as needed
* Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of machines and tooling
* Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment in compliance with safety standards

Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years of press brake experience
* Strong understanding of press brake components and machine operation
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
* Experience with CNC controls/software
* Good math skills for measurements and machine setup
* Physically capable of repetitive tasks and lifting up to 50 lbs
* Strong attention to detail and quality control
* Knowledge of manufacturing safety standards

Preferred Qualifications:
* High school diploma (required); technical college certificate is an asset
* Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience
* Experience or knowledge in HVAC / Air Handling systems is an asset
