Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Driver/Waste Collector to join our GarbageBuddy waste management team. This role involves collecting and transporting waste from residential, commercial areas to designated disposal sites.

Duties

Safely operate garbage trucks according to traffic laws and company policies
Collect waste from designated bins at various locations
Ensure proper loading and securement of waste to prevent spillage during transit
Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues promptly
Maintain accurate records of collections and route completion
Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
Assist with the maintenance and cleaning of vehicles as needed

Requirements

Knowledge of English
Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly throughout the workday (50–75 pounds)
Valid full G driver’s license with a clean driving record
At least 2 years minimum experience driving a heavy vehicle
Good communication skills and the ability to follow directions accurately
Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic are essential
Prior experience in waste collection is a plus but not mandatory
