We are looking for an experienced Paint Prep Technician to join our team, working on vehicles and metal strongboxes/safes. If you take pride in detailed prep work and quality finishes, we want you!
🔧 Responsibilities:
- Prepare vehicles, auto parts, and strongboxes (metal safes/boxes) for painting
- Inspect surfaces and remove imperfections before painting
- Repair scratches, dents, and chips using fillers
- Sand and smooth surfaces to ensure proper paint adhesion
- Perform seam/joint sealing between panels and metal parts
- Ensure high-quality prep on all items before painting
- Operate tools and equipment safely
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
✅ Requirements:
- Experience in auto body prep and/or metal surface preparation
- Attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Knowledge of sanding, filling, sealing, and surface prep
- Safety-focused mindset
