MACHINE OPERATOR / GENERAL LABOURER

🕒 Monday to Friday | 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM

We are currently hiring a Machine Operator / General Labourer for a growing plastic manufacturing company in Newmarket. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals looking to build a long-term career in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Machine Operation
- Set up and operate rotational moulding machines to manufacture plastic products
- Load powder into moulds
- Close moulds and start machine cycles
- Complete production sheets for each run
- Remove finished products from moulds and reload for the next cycle
- Inspect finished products for defects and quality issues

Post-Production Duties
- Trim excess plastic according to customer specifications
- Prepare finished products for shipment
- Package products into boxes or onto skids
- Stretch-wrap skids
- Apply shipping labels
- Transport skids to the shipping area using a pump truck

Requirements
- Good communication skills and ability to read and understand English
- Ability to work well with others
- Able to lift and handle materials over 50 lbs
- Comfortable standing for extended periods
- Reliable and punctual
- Safety shoes/boots required (all other PPE provided)
- Manufacturing or machine operation experience is an asset but not required

Compensation & Schedule - $21.50 per hour
Day Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM
