WE ARE LOOKING - CONCRETE FINISHERS & ROAD PAVING EQUIPMENT OPERATORS
📍 Location: Vaughan, ON
💰 Pay Rate: $35.00+/hour (based on experience)
We are currently seeking experienced Concrete Finishers and Road Paving Equipment Operators to join our growing team. We are looking for skilled individuals with experience operating equipment such as rollers, skid steers, pavers, grinders, and other paving machinery.
Responsibilities
Spread, compact, level, and smooth concrete using rakes, shovels, hand or power trowels, screeds, and floats.
Monitor environmental conditions (wind, heat, cold, etc.) and their effects on concrete curing.
Form and finish expansion joints using edging tools, jointers, and straightedges.
Apply sealants and protective coatings as required.
Repair, resurface, and replace existing concrete structures.
Operate road paving and construction equipment safely and efficiently.
Perform material handling, loading, and unloading of work vehicles.
Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
2–5 years of concrete finishing experience.
Experience operating road paving equipment such as rollers, skid steers, pavers, grinders, etc.
Strong knowledge of concrete operations from planning and forming to finished product.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
Physically capable of kneeling, balancing, climbing, crouching, crawling, and lifting 80+ lbs.
Safety-conscious with a commitment to following all workplace procedures.
Valid driver's license preferred.
