📍 Location: Holland Landing, East Gwillimbury, ON
💰 Pay: $27/hour
🕗 Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
📅 Full-Time Position

We are looking for a Python CNC Operator to join our fast-paced steel manufacturing team. This role combines Python programming, automation, troubleshooting, and steel shop operations to improve production efficiency and support technical processes.

🔹 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop, test, and maintain Python scripts for automation and data processing
• Operate and monitor Python-based applications and production systems
• Debug and troubleshoot Python code and resolve technical issues
• Integrate Python scripts with databases, APIs, and third-party tools
• Perform scheduled and on-demand program runs and verify results
• Document code, workflows, and standard operating procedures
• Work with IT, engineering, and technical teams to improve automation and efficiency
• Follow coding best practices, safety procedures, and security guidelines
• Work in a fast-paced steel production/shop environment

🔹 QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience working in a steel manufacturing or production/shop environment
• Strong understanding of Python programming fundamentals, including syntax, libraries, and error handling
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent attention to detail when running scripts and verifying results
• Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team
• Good communication and documentation skills
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and changing business needs
• Experience with CNC, automation, databases, or APIs is an asset
