Hiring: Technical-Production Designer // Location: Newmarket, ON // On-Site Position Only (Not Remote)

We are seeking a talented and creative Technical-Production Designer to join our growing signage team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing technical sign packages, layouts, and production-ready files for a wide variety of wayfinding and identification signage projects.

Our projects include complex environments such as: Condominiums, Public buildings, Commercial office spaces,Hotels, Retail environments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop technical sign packages and detailed sign layouts.
- Create accurate production-ready files for fabrication.
- Translate design concepts into buildable signage solutions.
- Prepare specifications and layouts for wayfinding and identification systems.
- Coordinate designs using a variety of materials and fabrication methods.
- Ensure designs meet project requirements, quality standards, and production capabilities.
- Collaborate with project managers, fabricators, and installation teams.

Qualifications & Requirements:
Experience - Minimum 3 years of experience in:
Signage Design, Environmental Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Related fields.
Education - Degree or diploma in: Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Architecture,Related discipline.

Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of vector-based design software (required). Experience with CorelDRAW is highly preferred, as all in-house layouts and production files are created using CorelDRAW. Proficiency in a PC-based work environment.

Working knowledge of:
Microsoft Excel, Gmail, Google Workspace Applications, SketchUp, 3D rendering software (3D Shaper or similar), CAD-based software, Raster editing programs.

Schedule: Full-Time, On-Site.
Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour (depending on experience)
