This is a dedicated celebration presented by Ethnic Music Group Canada. It features an 8-hour program focused on art, creativity, and community (aligning with the 2026 theme “A Garden of Expression: Cultivating Community Through Art”). It's family-friendly (children under 14 should attend with a parent/guardian), with free parking available.

11:30 AM — Doors open / Welcome guests
12:00 PM – 3:00 PM — Open Mic hosted by Hardy Braun
Step out of your comfort zone! Sing, play an instrument, read poetry, tell a story, or perform whatever talent you have. Bluetooth available for backing tracks. Everyone is welcome to participate.
4:00 PM – 4:30 PM — Emil Khachaturian – “Music That Heals the Soul” (solo guitar performance)
Overall runtime — 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM (approximately 8-hour event)
The rest of the afternoon and evening will feature additional solo and group musical performances, with the artistic program still being finalized (TBD). Expect a mix of live music, possible master classes/workshops, and an exhibition of local artists’ works on display throughout the day.

The event blends musical performances across styles (guitar, opera/bard songs, jazz/funk, etc.) with visual art elements. It's a community-focused celebration under the 2026 theme of cultivating connection through art.

Tickets: ~CA$38.95 advance (discounts available by calling 647-894-2562).

Kids under 14 get in free with a parent/guardian. Free parking on site.Note: Full timings for every performance beyond the open mic and Emil Khachaturian slot aren't fully published yet (some artistic elements are still TBD). The program may shift slightly as organizers finalize the running order closer to the date. If you're in the band or want to sign up for open mic, reach out directly to the organizers via the Eventbrite page. 

The event also includes an open mic session (12:00–3:00 PM, hosted by Hardy Braun), so additional emerging artists and community performers will participate (styles vary widely — singing, poetry, instrumental, etc.).

The full running order beyond the open mic and Emil Khachaturian’s slot is still being finalized, so expect some flexibility in the schedule. Many of these artists are part of Toronto’s vibrant Russian-speaking and multi-ethnic music community.
