I am in the north of GTA, established, 28 years in Canada and lived in Israel prior to that. Never bored, happy on my own, and enjoy spending time with friends but do miss a partner to have fun together. I enjoy being outside in all seasons and am physically active though cannot be called slender: rollerblading, biking, hiking, skating, cross-country skiing. Love reading, word games, following politics, backyard gardening and foraging in a forest, talking science and politics with my adult children and friends (who happen to be adult, too), watching my dogs goofing around. I am intelligent, well-read, temperamentally stable and not prone to drama. Tend to see a positive side of things but can be called a cynical optimist; thoughtful, warm, opinionated but willing to listen to other points of view (though I have my limits - no patience for SJWs and woke stuff), and my language is not always lady-like. I have a very good sense of humour, sometimes veering into sarcasm or black humour. Do not have cable and barely use TV, just for a movie here and there. Overall, live a fairly healthy lifestyle, but without extremes.

First, let's get the NOs out of the way: absolutely no interest in sponsoring or a long-distance relationship in Canada or outside. Looking for a man in the GTA who is more or less my age ("more or less" means within 5-7 years of my age), stable financially and psychologically, physically active but not a health nut, not a couch potato glued to a TV or a crazed sports fan defining himself through a team he supports. He is very smart, kind, animal lover, still curious about life and has a great sense of humour. Also, not someone who is only physically in Canada but mentally and emotionally still in Russia, Ukraine, etc. Not keen on someone who is smoker, into tattoos and motorcycles - alone or in any combination. Do not believe that "opposites attract", at least not speaking of a long term relationship. Obviously, do not expect a male version of myself but when there is a lot in common, including the worldview and approach to religion, a chance of a stable relationship is much higher.
