Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. General Application

This policy applies to all paid services, including business listings, classifieds, subscriptions, and banner advertising services provided by Torontovka.com ("the Company"). By purchasing a service, you agree to these terms.

2. Subscriptions & Payment

Currency: All fees are charged in Canadian Dollars (CAD).
Automatic Renewal: Subscription-based services renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled prior to the renewal date.
Activation: Listings and advertising campaigns are considered active immediately upon payment processing or publication, whichever occurs first.

3. Cancellation Policy

How to Cancel: Subscriptions may be cancelled via Account Settings or by contacting customer support.
Effect of Cancellation: Cancellation prevents future renewals but does not result in a refund for the current billing period. Listings remain active until the paid period ends.

4. Refund Policy

Final Sale: All purchases are final once a listing, subscription, or advertisement has been activated or published.
Rejection by Company: If an advertisement is rejected prior to publication due to editorial policy, a full refund will be issued.
Termination for Cause: If a listing is removed for violating Terms of Service or applicable laws, no refund will be issued for the remaining period.
Statutory Rights: This policy does not limit rights granted under the Consumer Protection Act, 2002 (Ontario) or other applicable Canadian laws.
Processing: Approved or legally required refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

5. Billing Disputes

Notification: Billing disputes must be submitted in writing within 30 days of the transaction date.
Waiver: Failure to dispute within 30 days constitutes acceptance of the charge.

Advertising & Listing Addendum (Terms of Use)

1. No Performance Guarantee

No guarantee of views, impressions, clicks, or leads.
No guarantee of sales, revenue, or business growth.
No guarantee of permanent ranking or placement unless explicitly purchased.

2. Listing Control & Moderation

Edit: Modify formatting, categorization, or grammar to meet site standards.
Reject: Refuse content deemed misleading, offensive, unlawful, or competitive.
Suspend: Remove listings that violate Terms or Canadian law without notice.

3. Advertiser Responsibility & Indemnification

Accuracy: Advertisers are responsible for all content accuracy.
Compliance: Content must comply with Canadian advertising standards and laws.
Indemnity: Advertisers agree to indemnify Torontovka.com from claims or damages arising from their content.
