REQUIREMENTS

5+ years of experience as a Tool & Die Maker or Mould Maker
Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation
CNC setup and programming experience
Wire & Sink EDM setup/programming experience
Experience with Agie/GF and Fanuc controls
GibbsCAM experience preferred
SolidWorks/CAD experience preferred
Injection moulding experience
Experience manufacturing small, close-tolerance components
Ability to set up and operate mills, lathes and surface grinders
Experience with 3-axis CNC machining centres
Strong troubleshooting and preventive maintenance skills
Ability to build moulds, jigs, fixtures and assembly tooling to close tolerances
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Ability to train/mentor apprentices or toolroom helpers
Flexible to work shifts and overtime when required

RESPONSIBILITIES

Manufacture and assemble precision mould components and tooling
Set up and operate CNC, conventional and EDM machinery
Program and set up CNC machines
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on moulds and dies
Troubleshoot moulds, dies and other tooling
Maintain PM and tool-change documentation
Work closely with Engineering and Production
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
