📍 Location: Holland Landing, East Gwillimbury, ON
💰 Salary: $27–$30/hour, depending on experience
🕖 Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
📅 Full-Time Position
We are looking for an experienced Welder/Fitter to join our team in a heavy steel fabrication, machining, and assembly environment.
🔹 REQUIREMENTS
• 3+ years of structural steel welding and fitting experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Welder/Fitter working with custom components
• Strong experience with MIG welding
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and weld diagrams
• Experience working in a heavy steel fabrication/machining/assembly environment
• Proficient with hand tools, torches, and other fabrication equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Physically capable of handling the demands of the position
• Safety-conscious and reliable
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
⭐ ASSETS
• Overhead Crane & Rigging experience
• CWB Certification – an asset; candidates without certification may be considered for certification
• TSSA tickets – an asset
🔹 RESPONSIBILITIES
• Weld and fit steel components using MIG welding
• Read and interpret shop drawings and weld diagrams to ensure accurate fabrication
• Fit and assemble custom steel components according to specifications
• Use hand tools, torches, and other equipment as required
• Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
💰 WHAT WE OFFER
