4. Privatize most of the government owned enterprises while lowering the tax rate and cutting the social spending.

5. I gurantee that the unemployment rate in Florida will double in three months after my four point policy described above is implemented.

Making money is an easy part, removing the commies from power positions is much tougher. Anyway, I alluded to Florida in my earlier post.



Below are some easy ways:



1. Tourism and entertainment.

2. Retirement communities.

3. Off shore financial services.

Prince of Silence - agree, though tourism is already their biggest economical factor, so is some offshore financial services - its one of the best places to have an offshore account to channel money through. Retirement community though? I wouldn't want to spend my last years surrounded by dirty cubans (..thats why I wouldn't retire in Florida either) .

Tourism is easy to promote, especially when Commies are removed, because you have US to open doors for tourism, but in case of another 9-11 or war, god forbid.. the economy is going to plunge simply because the stupid North Americans scared of flying.

Prince, I strongly recommend you concentrate your energies on a more practical pursuit. Besides, such strong partisanship is known to blunt your judgment and lead to disappointment.

Mashka, I agree with you but I prefer personal action to dreaming unless dreaming is a form of self-improvement.

Right on brother , Bulatych ! We must act, otherwise we'll go crazy and the state of things will degrade, but we are still allowed to dream, right ?

Dream after a hard day at work, dream while with your bestest friends, dream and live that utopia at least for a second or two.

Again, you're missing my point. I am talking about the communities with ocean front access. California and Florida are full of Mexicans, but that doesn't mean that you have to live among them.

If you're a retiree, all you want to do is enjoy the ocean breeze and play some golf. Since Cuba is an island, there is no problem with the ocean access. What's the issue, build some golf courses. There you go, weekend golf get-aways is another opportunity. I will fly to Cuba for a couple rounds of golf if it's cheaper than South Carolina or Florida.

It's time to roll the sleeves and make some dough...

I'd take Cuba and turn it into a prison (Alcatrazz 2). Would make a lot of money this way.. other countries wouldnt have to worry about the taxpayers money on the upkeep and costs. To make money on the side I would get rich white folks that have nothing to do to manhunt (a lot of money in that), and shoot my own Survival reality show.
