We live in a culture that celebrates sexual virility and ignores differences between men and women.
There’s much debate over whether guys actually have higher libidos than gals.
In her new book “I’d Rather Eat Chocolate”, author Joan Sewell explores how western culture refuses to look at the low libido as something normal, instead viewing it as a “desire disorder.”
Some people just aren’t as sexual, or may have definitions of what an erotic experience entails. For some women – and men – often chocolate looks pretty good in place of a good shag.
Bottom line: if you’re not in the mood, don’t do it, and your partner should always respect that. You may be married, but you’re not your mate’s personal blow up doll.
